Approval of the import and/or use of the LMO(s) with conditions
Confined release will be conducted in a specially equipped experimental field with 24-hour surveillance and audible alarms. The following release requirements will be met: monitoring of flora and fauna within a 300-meter radius of the experimental field during testing; after the end of the growing season, all above-ground plant material will be incinerated in a crematorium; the tubers will be completely removed from the soil and used only for scientific research; the land will be plowed; and a risk assessment of potential adverse effects of genetically engineered organisms on human health will be conducted if further use for commercial purposes is desired.
Release conditions are subject to confined field trials according to Belarussian legislation.
